DoSeeRock / 도시락 / 都市樂 is the new house that hosts rising voices in the field of architecture. It has been established by Jungin Kim, who practices and teaches in Seoul. As an academic group , DoSeeRock has focused upon the interplay between the built environment and changing constructions of urban conscious in East Asia. Their elaborated work and theoretical explorations are organized around a series of dominant urban projects in China, Japan, and Korea. DoSeeRock examines the social and political consequences of these projects through close analysis of the popular contestations and how these struggles contributed to debates about urban rights and new forms of citizenship.
